In Calgary, it is estimated that over 3,500 men, women and children are homeless on any given night, but together we can change this statistic. On November 18th, 2022, I will be participating in the Hockey Helps the Homeless Calgary Tournament. We will be raising awareness and funding for four local homeless support agencies right here in Calgary. I've been supporting this cause for several years and was asked to join a team this year. We live in a cyclical economic climate that has ups and downs, and we know more than a few people that have lost their homes and their sons and daughters are on the streets and need our help. 

Torxen is dedicated to supporting organizations in the communities it works in, as well as encouraging the initiatives of our employees, like myself, who are committed to supporting a local social cause or community organizations. Torxen is pleased to contribute $1,000.00 towards Hockey For the Homeless.

If you've seen me skate, you'll know it wasn't for my hockey prowess that I got the call.  I'm hoping to raise $3,000.00 for the cause.  Please donate to this often overlooked cause that is currently lean and gets the dough to the right people.
