For the second year in a row I've been given the opportunity to represent my work at this fantastic event and fundraise on behalf of an incredible organization.
You're not imagining things - I did just fundraise for and participate in this same event in June but now it's being held in it's usual time in the spring.
Any support towards my minimum goal of $750 will be greatly appreciated as I look to play along side colleagues and some fun professional hockey alumni. And of course support this great cause and event put on by a passionate organization.
In Toronto, it is estimated that there are over 2000 homeless youth on any given night, but together we can change this statistic. On April 22nd, I will be participating in the Hockey Helps the Homeless Bay Street Tournament, raising awareness and funding for Eva's Initiatives, a local youth support agency right here in Toronto.
