On March 25th, I will be participating in the inaugural Hockey Helps the Homeless Saskatoon Tournament, raising awareness and funding a couple of very deserving local homelessness agencies. There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help. Hockey Helps the Homeless invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets. We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but we need your help.
Although my hockey involvement may not have much game impact due my "Hands Of Stone" I'm hoping we can be game changers by supporting the cause and help bring hope to our most vulnerable!
If you you wish to donate by cheque? Cheques should be made payable to Hockey Helps the Homeless and mailed to Head Office at 44 East Beaver Creek, Unit #4, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4B 1G8. Please specify player name in the memo line. Tax receipts will be issued upon receipt of the donation for all gifts $25 and above.
