We have a lot of work to do in our community but by supporting these amazing organizations we have a chance of improving the lives of a lot of people that are struggling within our community.
On any given night, there are over 500 people homeless in the Saskatoon area. Together I'm confident we can create change.
On March 24th, I will be participating in the inaugural Hockey Helps the Homeless Saskatoon Tournament, raising awareness and funding a couple of very deserving local homelessness agencies. There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help. Hockey Helps the Homeless invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets. We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but we need your help.
