On any given night, there are over 1,500 people homeless in the Winnipeg area. Together, I'm confident we can change this statistic. Every day on my way to work and home from work, I pass by Central Park in the heart of downtown Winnipeg and witness the terrible toll of homelessness in Winnipeg.
On September 11th, I will be participating in the 1st annual Bridge To Nowhere Ride, riding with a group called "Brothers of the Fork" riding 90 km to help in raising awareness and funding for 4 very deserving local homelessness support agencies.
There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help. The Bridge to Nowhere invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets. We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but we need your help.
Be a game changer today by helping me support the cause and help bring hope to our most vulnerable!
