Diversion from the shelter system requires the right resources and referrals. Your support helps our participants score, top shelf
In London, it is estimated that over 2,000 men, women and children are homeless on any given night, but together we can change this statistic. This summer, I will be participating in the Hockey Helps the Homeless Canada Life Cup to raise funds and awareness in support of three London agencies: Unity Project, Merrymount and Mission Services of London.
Those experiencing homelessness in London and the surrounding area need your support more than ever. The pandemic has brought about many challenges and exposed deep-rooted systematic inequalities. Add on additional staffing costs, worker PPE and increased food safety and sanitation costs, many agencies are struggling to continue supporting those expriencing homelessness in the way they need to maintain stability and achieve safe housing. Agencies and frontline workers need your support to continue to meet the daily needs and sustain short-term and long-term goals for enhanced programming and systematic change for London's most vulnerable.
We can create change when we come together as a community. Be apart of the solution and join in the fight to shutout homelessness today!
