Help Me, Help Local Homeless Men, Women and Children - All Funds Raised Stay Local!

Welcome to My Personal Page

First off I hope you and your family are healthy, safe and staying positive during this challenging time. I'm reaching out in hope you'll support my involvement with Hockey Helps the Homeless.  Established in 1996, it is one of the top peer to peer fundraising organizations in Canada supporting Homeless agencies coast to coast.

Unfortunately, we won't be playing in a live hockey tournament this year, but HHTH is still raising funds to shut out homelessness across Canada by creating the Canada Life Cup in partnership with their National Founding Sponsor, Canada Life. The Canada Life Cup is a fundraising event whereby participating teams will do what we've always done - fundraise! The only difference this year is we won't be playing a day of hockey (which for my body may not be a bad thing!!).  The Peel Region event will support the same two homeless support agencies as last year - Armagh and Regeneration Outreach.

Armagh provides safe, supportive and transitional housing to women, with or without children, who are escaping abuse and provides them with a place to live for an extended period of time.

Regeneration Outreach provides hot and hearty meals, as well as essential supports like healthcare, hygiene and clothing to men, women and youth living in extreme poverty or those are at-risk of, or experiencing homeless.

Right now, these two beneficiaries need our help more than ever. They have had to shift their focus in order to support the new unprecedented costs they are facing as a result of COVID-19 including additional staffing costs, personal protective equipment (PPE), increased sanitation and food security.

I know these are unprecedented times and I hope you'll be a game changer today by supporting the cause and help bring hope to our most vulnerable through these difficult times. Hockey tournament or not, we can be bigger than the game.

Wish to donate by cheque?  Cheques should be made payable to Hockey Helps the Homeless and mailed to Head Office at 44 East Beaver Creek, Unit #4, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4B 1G8.  Please specify player name in the memo line.  Tax receipts will be issued upon receipt of the donation for all gifts $25 and above.
