Help Me, Help Local Homeless Men, Women and Children - All Funds Raised Stay Local!

Welcome to my Personal Page!

Well, it's 2022.  Covid is as over as medically possible.  I've been bolted back together like the Six Million Dollar Man, and am ready to be drafted by the Canucks when they realize local talent will take a contract at a discounted rate.
But in the meantime, I'm back at it Hockey Helps the Homeless for the 7th or 8th year in a row, of playing/fundraising, or suffering...
If you have a little DTES fatigue, be rest assured that the team at HHtH, is pretty strategic on how and where they put the money to work, as Homeless is a pretty generic phrase.  Lots of support to agencies rebuilding people and communities.  If you have time, take a look.

But you know how this goes. I stop pucks for three games, and you SPONSOR  me to suffer apropriately.....

And if you really wanted, you could even come and watch me stand on my head, or flop around like a dead seal.

So, no pressure, but I'd truly appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks

David.

In Vancouver, it is estimated that over 3,600 men, women and children are homeless on any given night, but together we can change this statistic. On November 25th, I will be participating in the Hockey Helps the Homeless Vancouver Tournament, raising awareness and funding for local homeless support agencies right here in the city.

There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help. Hockey Helps the Homeless invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets. We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but we need your help.

Be a game changer today by supporting the cause and help bring hope to our most vulnerable!
