As I come up to my 60th year, I need some help fundraising for this great event and charity. All the money is used on local Metro Vancouver charities. I know none of you guys were going to buy me a 60th birthday present but I'm going to ask you to donate instead of sending me nothing!!!! I don't think I have many years left playing in this tourney as they don't have an old old timers division. Quit complaining about homelessness in your area and do something about it. Donate now and I will continue to be your friend or enemy. All you guys I do business with it is now time to help me out as I don't ask for anything from you all year!! What I'm really saying is buck up you cheap bastards!

In Vancouver, it is estimated that over 3,600 men, women and children are homeless on any given night, but together we can change this statistic. On November 25th, I will be participating in the Hockey Helps the Homeless Vancouver Tournament, raising awareness and funding for local homeless support agencies right here in the city.

There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help. Hockey Helps the Homeless invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets. We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but we need your help.

Wish to donate by cheque? Cheques should be made payable to Hockey Helps the Homeless and mailed to Head Office at 44 East Beaver Creek, Unit #4, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4B 1G8. Please specify player name in the memo line. Tax receipts will be issued upon receipt of the donation for all gifts $25 and above.
