Welcome to my Personal Page!
Hey friends:
I once again have the privilege of playing alongside some remarkable female pros and olympians and NHL alumni in this year's edition of Hockey Helps the Homeless Waterloo Region. Puck drops on October 28th but I am trying to get a head-start on fundraising to make sure I hit my goal of $2000. Remember that all proceeds stay in the community.
It is estimated that over 3,000 men, women and children are homeless in Waterloo Region in any given year, but together we can change this statistic. Hockey Helps the Homeless Waterloo Region Tournament is about raising awareness and funding for five local homeless support agencies right here in the Waterloo Region.
There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help. Hockey Helps the Homeless invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets. We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but we need your help.
Be a game changer today by supporting the cause and help bring hope to our most vulnerable!
