Good day to all friends and family. Please join me again this year as we hit the ice to raise money in support of Hockey Helps the Homeless. I know there are so many worthy causes, but hope you are able to donate to this very important local initiative of helping our homeless.
On any given night, there are between 169,000 and 195,000 individuals in Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga that experience poverty or are on the brink of becoming homeless.
Together, with your support, I'm confident we can change this statistic.
On March 24th, I will be participating in the 2023 Hockey Helps the Homeless Peel Region tournament, raising awareness and funding for local homeless shelters. There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help. Hockey Helps the Homeless invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets. We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but we need your help.
Be a game changer today by supporting the cause and help bring hope to our most vulnerable!
