Welcome to Nick's Page!
We are again doing what we can to try to help the less fortunate by supporting a truly noble cause: Hockey Helps the Homeless.
It is hard to imagine, but with the Pandemic, homelessness is getting even worse in Montreal. With winter coming, we, the fortunate, need to help those left behind.
Pease seriously consider helping this great cause, by clicking on and giving (with a tax receipt to follow) at this site.
Please give by the fundraising deadline of Wednesday, September 30.
Thanks so much!
PS. For those financially able to match at least half of what I am donating this year, if you donate $300 or more I’ll happily take you for a nice (and boozy!) lunch to personally thank you.
PPS. And for the two (2) most generous donors of all to my efforts, you’ll also receive a gift certificate to the lovely, five star Hovey Manor. To be in the running, please consider giving several hundred dollars and stay tuned to see if your total donation(s) turn out to be among the most generous (with last donations counted as of 5pm on Sept 30). Top donor gets a $400 gift certificate, with the 2nd most-generous donor getting a $200 gift certificate. Special thanks to my lovely wife Suzanne (and little Anna) for generously splitting the cost of this with me as co-sponsors. If we can use these gift certificates to raise as much as possible, we’re happy to know that its money well spent! So please be generous if you’re interested in a nice staycation or dinner at a top notch gastronomic hotel and dining room: www.manoirhovey.com!!!
For those interested in learning some more about why this cause is important to me and don’t mind working through one of my infamously long letters - please read the info on this site.
PPPS. Wish to donate by cheque? Cheques should be made payable to Hockey Helps the Homeless and mailed to Head Office at 44 East Beaver Creek, Unit #4, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4B 1G8. Please specify player name in the memo line. Tax receipts will be issued upon receipt of the donation for all gifts $25 and above.
