This will be my sixth appearance in The Montreal HHTH Tournament and I will continue to play for as long as you support me and together we will keep making a difference for the Homeless.In Montreal.
It is estimated that over 3,000 men, women and children are homeless on any given night, but with your help we can change this statistic. On March 31st, I will be participating in the Hockey Helps the Homeless Montreal Tournament, raising awareness and funding for over 16 local homeless support agencies right here in the city.
There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help. Hockey Helps the Homeless invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets. HHTH supports organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but I need your support to help provide this full array of services..
No one chooses Homelessness: let us fight this battle and together provide every Homeless person with an alternative, the care and safe environment they need and the respect they deserve.
