Welcome to team TC Energy's fight against homelessness!
In Montreal, it is estimated that over 3000 men, women and children are homeless on any given night, but together we can change this statistic. Numbers are equally shocking across regions outside of cities across Quebec. We were schedule to participate in the Hockey Helps the Homeless Montreal Tournament on April 2 before the onset of COVID-19. The event was to raise awareness and funding for over 15 local homeless support agencies right here in the city. Like many things, we have launched a virtual fundraising cup with the same goals: The Canada Life Cup! The race is on and the drive ends of September 30, 2020! Please consider your donation now!!
There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help. COVID-19 has sent more individual and families to the street and made it a major struggle to raise money for and provide services to victims of homelessness. Hockey Helps the Homeless invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets. We are working harder now than ever! We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but we need your help.
Be a game changer today by supporting the cause and help bring hope to our most vulnerable!
