Once again, on December 9th, I'm going to lace up my skates and teach some ex NHL pros a thing or two, while we raise monies for Hockey Helps the Homeless.
In York Region, it is estimated that up to 500 youth between the ages of 13 to 24 are homeless on any given night. We can change this statistic.
The Hockey Helps the Homeless York Region Tournament, raises awareness and funding for 360°Kids and Blue Door, two local youth support agencies.
Hockey Helps the Homeless supports these organization's housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment. And we need your help!
