Welcome to my Personal Page!

In York Region, it is estimated that 300 to 500 youth between the ages of 13 to 24 are homeless on any given night, but together we can change this statistic.  I am participating in the Hockey Helps the Homeless (HHTH) York Region event as a member of the Universal Logistics Fundraising team, raising awareness and funding for two local homeless support agencies right here in York Region, 360°Kids and Blue Door.

My employer, Universal Logistics, has always been an organization which prides itself on making a difference.  For a number of years, we’ve been a proud supporter of the HHTH York Region Hockey Tournament, and for 2022, we’re thrilled to once again be involved as the official Game Day & Participant Gift Sponsor.  Additionally, Universal Logistics has agreed to make a matching donation for every dollar raised by our employee fundraising teams, to a maximum of $25,000, meaning that your generosity will have twice the impact!

There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help. Hockey Helps the Homeless invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets.  We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but we need your help.  Any donation, big or small, can take the Universal Fundraising team one step closer to achieving our goal.
