In Vancouver, it is estimated that over 3,600 men, women and children are homeless on any given night, but together we can change this statistic.
I have been helping organize this event for 12 years and again, on November 26th, I will be participating in the Hockey Helps the Homeless Vancouver Tournament, raising awareness and funding for local homeless support agencies right here in the city.
Hockey Helps the Homeless invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets. We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but we need your help.
