Welcome to the Impact Coaches Inc. Fundraising Page!

We at Impact Coaches Inc. support the community and charities throughout. One of our preferred charities is Hockey Helps the Homeless and we will be supporting them once again by taking part in the 2023 Peel Region Tournament on March 24th.

ABOUT Hockey Helps The Homeless (HHTH)

At Hockey Helps the Homeless, we believe that every Canadian should have a safe place to call home and the supports that they need to thrive. To ensure all homeless and at-risk Canadians have a fighting chance, we host Pro-Am hockey tournaments across Canada where players raise funds to make a direct impact in their own community. 100% of net proceeds stay local to reach the ultimate goal of ending homelessness.

Since inception, HHTH has granted over $21 million locally to our partner agencies. They provide a variety of services, which includes emergency shelter, transitional housing, and mentorship programs for those currently experiencing homelessness of all ages and backgrounds, while aiming to create long term solutions to end homelessness across the country.

Impact Hockey League (IHL) and Impact Coaches Inc

One of our own at Impact runs a hockey league…and yes decided to call it the Impact Hockey League!... where hockey players can have an impact on their communities. On its own the Impact Hockey League has raised $366,504 locally! Funds raised through the Peel Region tournament support two deserving organizations that are working to end homelessness in the Peel Region: Regeneration Outreach and Armagh House.

Armagh House

Breaking the cycle of Domestic Abuse

Since 1991, Armagh has been a safe haven in Peel Region for families transitioning due to domestic violence. While there are many emergency shelters for women and their families across the Greater Toronto-Hamilton Area (GTHA), Armagh is the only second stage supportive housing organization serving more the more than 1.5 million residents in the Region of Peel. With its 9 affordable 1 & 2 bedroom apartments, Armagh supports approximately 18 families and 30-35 children each year, and families can stay up to two years or longer. HHTH proceeds will support their Rebuilding Lives Expansion Project. Armagh has broken ground on their expansion project, where they look to expand our facility to a 35,000 square foot safe haven for women and children. The expansion will include an additional 10 units (one being fully accessible), purpose built child and youth spaces, and a tranquil courtyard for family gatherings. This expansion will allow Armagh to double it’s capacity, and support more women and children in rebuilding their lives free from violence.

Regeneration Outreach

Increasing food stability in the community

Regeneration Outreach serves men and women living in extreme poverty or those who are at-risk of, or experiencing homelessness in a safe and caring environment. They provide hot and hearty meals, as well as essential supports including healthcare and hygiene, clothing, and a number of skills classes including culinary arts, community gardening and social integration. They also run a Food Rescue and Distribution Program to prevent food waste in Brampton and the surrounding areas by rescuing and using food that would have otherwise been thrown out by grocery stores and restaurants. The ultimate goal of this program is not only to decrease waste, but to increase food stability in their community. To date, Regeneration Outreach has rescued over 500,000 lbs of food since the program started three years ago. HHTH funding will go towards expanding this program so Regeneration can rescue even more food and increase their support in the community.

We are committed and hopefully you can join us in supporting these two great organizations!
