On any given night, there are over 1,500 people homeless in the Winnipeg area.
Together I'm confident we can change this statistic.
On December 6th, I will be participating in the inaugural Hockey Helps the Homeless Winnipeg Tournament, raising awareness and funding a very deserving local homelessness agency. There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help. Hockey Helps the Homeless invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets. We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but we need your help.
My goal is to raise $500.00 but I can’t do it without your help. It is easy for you to help me make a difference. Simply follow the link below to donate to my campaign securely online. Donations of $25 or more receive a tax receipt instantly via email.
Prefer to make an offline donation? E-mail email@example.com or contact me directly.
This cause is important to me and to our local community - I hope I can count on your support.
