Louis Pallay Personal Page!
I have been fortunate to be able to travel the world, and I am always surprised (and not in a good way) with all of the homeless people that I come across. Does the population not care about their needy?
I like that we do something good for the homeless here in Montreal and so a few years ago I agreed to play in the "Hockey Helps the Homeless Tournament". Yes it was a lot of fun, but it is also a great cause raising millions of dollars for homeless, shelters, food banks, etc., all in and around Montreal. We raised over $300,000.00 last year alone and hope to do more this year.
This year's tournament will take place Friday April 5th, 2019 and I am looking forward to playing with formers pro's. Three games in one day!
"Hockey Helps the Homeless" Tournament is supported by former hockey stars, we will have Steve Penney and Dan Daoust on our team and we will play against Shayne Corson, Keith Acton, Wally Weir and others. Many well known Montreal Canadiens play in the tournament.
We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment.
Please help by giving to the homeless by supporting my participation. My goal is to raise $2,000.00. I donate regularly to other organizations, but I also feel that this is a good one. and so I am asking you to show your support, I will match donations until I reach my goal.
I have asked a lot of people and so I do not need you to giva a lot, I just need you to make the effort for the homeless by giving something.
Thank you for your support!
Louis Pallay, #26.
