Thank you for all your support this far!
Today April 5th, I will be participating in the Hockey Helps the Homeless Tournament, raising awareness and funding for over 15 local homeless support agencies in my hometown of Montreal.
This tournament has a special meaning to me because my dad (Mike Landry) started a hockey program for homeless teenagers through Dans La Rue, a Montreal homeless shelter. For over 15 winters my dad has run practices/scrimmages for the teenagers living in the streets. Seeing first hand the enjoyment the kids get when strapping on the pads and skates is truly incredible.
The program is still running but staffing at the shelter is always an issue as it requires extra man power on hockey days. Its through fundraising programs like this that allows the hockey program among many others to continue to be a success. Hockey has given me so much in my life and its great to see some canadian kids who never had a chance to play hockey as kids skate like NHLers for a few weeks a year!!! Please support my Dad through our Hockey Helps the Homeless game!
Be a game changer today by supporting the cause and help bring hope to our most vulnerable!
Tax receipts will be issued upon receipt of the donation for all gifts $25 and above.
