On April 3rd I will be playing in the Hockey Helps the Homeless charity tournament. This is a cause that is very close to me and I am very proud to be the Co-Chair of the Montreal event. Last year, we were able to donate over $400,000 to local charities and we are hoping to be able to donate even more this year. I have been lucky to see first hand how much of a difference these donations can have with our amazing charity partners.
Any donations would be great appreciated. Thank you for your support.
In Montreal, it is estimated that over 3000 men, women and children are homeless on any given night, but together we can change this statistic. On April 5th, I will be participating in the Hockey Helps the Homeless Montreal Tournament, raising awareness and funding for over 15 local homeless support agencies right here in the city.
There’s more than one story when it comes to how people end up homeless and that’s why there is more than one way to help. Hockey Helps the Homeless invests in solutions that ensure fewer individuals and families end up on the streets. We support organizations and programs committed to ending homelessness through housing, transportation initiatives, mental health support, education, health and wellness, training and employment, but we need your help.
Be a game changer today by supporting the cause and help bring hope to our most vulnerable!
Wish to donate by cheque? Cheques should be made payable to Hockey Helps the Homeless and mailed to Head Office at 44 East Beaver Creek, Unit #4, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4B 1G8. Please specify player name in the memo line. Tax receipts will be issued upon receipt of the donation for all gifts $25 and above.
