Living in the Lower Mainland, we all know homelessness is on the rise and the system is incredibly underfunded. Hockey Helps the Homeless is a fantastic event that allows hockey players to live out their dreams and raise much needed funds for the LOCAL communities.
It wasn't until I spent 14 months working with Coast Mental Health that I truly understood how valuable fundraising resources like Hockey Helps the Homeless really are. Working in Mental Health, I worked closely with the staff who provide support to the homeless and work tirelessly to help end homelessness.
Please help support me, as I skate (slash & hook) my way down the ice to end homelessness! As a player, we pay to play which allows all funds raised to stay in the local community helping those in need. Any donation is appreciated.
Wish to donate by cheque? Cheques should be made payable to Hockey Helps the Homeless and mailed to Head Office at 44 East Beaver Creek, Unit #4, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4B 1G8. Please specify player name in the memo line. Tax receipts will be issued upon receipt of the donation for all gifts $25 and above.
